What DNS Filtering means
Every connection begins by translating a name into an address. A filtering resolver checks that name against reputation data and refuses to answer for known malicious or newly registered domains. It works before any connection is made, and it protects every device on the network including those you cannot install software on.
Why DNS Filtering matters for small businesses and nonprofits
It is inexpensive, quick to deploy and catches a meaningful share of phishing links and malware callbacks. For a small organisation it is one of the best returns available per hour of effort.
