Instructional Design
Learning That Sticks, Measured By Behaviour
What is Instructional Design?
Instructional design turns knowledge into learning that sticks. It is the difference between a recorded meeting and a course people finish.
Instructional design begins with the behaviour you want to change, then works backwards to the smallest set of activities, practice and feedback that will produce it. Good design decides what to leave out. It sequences content, builds in retrieval practice, and assesses whether the learning actually happened rather than whether the video was played.
How we use Instructional Design
What you get with Instructional Design
- A course outline mapped to measurable outcomes
- Assessments that test the behaviour, not the memory of a slide
- Materials that meet accessibility requirements
- Completion and performance data you can report to a funder or a board
Do people finish your training?
We will review one existing course and show you where learners drop out and why.
