SCORM
Course Data That Actually Reaches Your Platform
What is SCORM?
SCORM is the standard that lets a course built in one tool report progress and scores to a learning management system built by someone else.
SCORM defines how e learning content packages itself and how it talks to a learning platform: completion, score, time spent and bookmarking. It matters when you buy content from a vendor, build in an authoring tool, or need to move courses between systems later. It is old technology, and it is still the safest bet for portability. xAPI covers what SCORM cannot.
How we use SCORM
What you get with SCORM
- Packages verified in your live environment, not just locally
- Completion and scoring confirmed against a test learner record
- A short technical note your content vendors can follow
- A migration path if you change platform later
Is your course data not reaching your LMS?
We will trace where the reporting breaks and fix it, usually within a day.
