What is SCORM?

SCORM is the standard that lets a course built in one tool report progress and scores to a learning management system built by someone else.

SCORM defines how e learning content packages itself and how it talks to a learning platform: completion, score, time spent and bookmarking. It matters when you buy content from a vendor, build in an authoring tool, or need to move courses between systems later. It is old technology, and it is still the safest bet for portability. xAPI covers what SCORM cannot.

Publish and test properly

We package content and test it in your actual platform, because a package that works in the authoring tool can still fail in the LMS.

Fix tracking that does not report

We diagnose the usual causes of missing completion data, such as the wrong package type, blocked calls between two different web addresses, or a course that never signals completion.

Choose the right standard

We advise when SCORM is enough and when xAPI is worth the extra work, for example when learning happens outside the platform.
