What is Adobe Captivate?

Adobe Captivate builds interactive, simulation heavy e learning: software walkthroughs, branching scenarios and assessments that behave like the real system.

Captivate is an authoring tool aimed at interaction rather than slides. It records software procedures, supports branching scenarios where the learner's choice changes the path, and publishes responsive output that reports back through SCORM or xAPI. It suits training where people must practise a procedure rather than simply read about it.
